Funders: Grassroots and Award 4 All

• Remy, is a volunteer Coach for Cocyde Academy Club (football). He has level 1 and 2 in coaching, and Cocyde has the responsibility to boost him to achieve level 3 for qualification. He started by testing children fitness on 12 September 2010. Everyone appreciated his skills and techniques.

• Takeofflinks in partnership with Cocyde organised a successful AGM on Sunday 12 September in London Kentish Town McDonald's  from 16.45 pm to 18.15pm. Everyone. For any queries please contact Kiasuka (Chairman) on 07983287195.
• A 14 Congolese child was 9 times knifed everywhere on his body by his friends in London Tottenham. God willing, he has survived and hospitalised. We ask Congolese parents to double their effort to educate our children and be away from crime.

• Cocyde, young people invited to eat for free in Kentish Town McDonalds on Saturday 28 August 2010.
• Two members of Cocyde to attend better management training on 14 September 5-9 pm at VAC.
• on 29 September Cocyde will host a meeting with Sarah-VAC to discuss possible funding application forms and with Asha -VAC to discuss planning meeting toward 18 September meeting.

• Cocyde invites members who work with children to come forward with their British Passport/ UK Driving Licence to complete their Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Check Certificate.
• Lydia Munanga, Cocyde's Secretary is on holiday in Brussels for a week.
• A commission appointed to establish an Action Plan is now finalising the document for the next 5 years plan.
• A copy of the Action Plan was sent to Sarah Oyedele on 27 August 2010 o/r.

COCYDE organise a training session on Saturday 18 September 2010 at Highgate Road Chapel, Chetwynd Road, London NW5 1BU for at least 20 people on Safeguarding (Child abuse/ protection). Our partner Asha will finance £486 for the day. Free parking, free child care, free food and a certificate will be awarded to participants at the end of the session. Please book now to confirm your attendence as places are very limited  for February 2011 training.
